Social Studies Lessons in Sixth Grade

The students in Mrs. Klepac’s Sixth Grade Social Studies classes created their own unique countries. Working in groups of 2-4 students, they experienced the difficult task of compromising while forming their “perfect” countries. Each group included a preamble, type of government, National Holiday, and map (containing natural landforms, monuments, etc.) in their completed projects.

The Sixth Grade Social Studies students now have a better understanding and appreciation of the effort and dedication that our Founding Fathers had when forming the foundation and Constitution for our United States of America.
